Protect Your Financial Information:

Never respond to people asking for money or requesting a wire transfer, especially overseas - even if the person claims to be in an emergency situation. Report the incident immediately to us instead.

Transferring money is untraceable and there's no protection for the sender against any loss, or possibilities of getting your money back.

Protect Your Personal Information:

Never give out any private and personal information, such as your social security number or credit card information, and don't tell your address or workplace to people you don't know yet or haven't met before.

Please note that you will never receive an email from Mahbubi, asking for your password information. So, if you receive any email with that kind of demand, it should be reported to us immediately.

Block and Report Users If Necessary:

You can always block and report suspicious users, anonymously. If you receive unusual messages and strange requests from another member, don't hesitate to stop the communication at any time - both before as well as after you've matched.

Offline Behaviour

Get to Know the Other Person:

Start off by keeping your communication limited to Mahbubi. This will give you the opportunity to get to know each other in a safe space, before eventually meeting in person.

Meet in a Public Place:

Meet for the first time in an open and public place. Never agree on a first date in a remote location or on someone's home address.

Tell Friends of Your Plans:

Inform a friend or family member of your plans and where you're going. Make sure your phone is fully charged and with you all the time, in case you need to use it.

Use Your Own Transportation:

Take care of your own transportation. You don't have to depend on someone else to carry you, especially in case you want the date to end sooner than planned.
